Renting a scooter by the month from Oka’s Motorbike Rental gets you free delivery anywhere in Bali, free airport pickup and drop-off, and no deposit. It is the simplest option for long stays, remote work or a slow trip around the island.

What do I get with a monthly rental?

  • Free delivery anywhere in Bali, not only around Ubud.
  • Free airport delivery and pickup at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
  • No deposit and no payment to book.
  • A helmet and a phone holder included.
  • 24-hour help on WhatsApp if anything goes wrong.

Monthly prices for each bike are on our bikes page.

Do I need to pay a deposit for a monthly rental?

No. There is no deposit for any rental, including monthly ones. We take a photo of your passport and hand it straight back. You pay the rental, and that is it. You can pay by cash, bank transfer, QRIS or card.

How do I extend my rental?

Extending is easy: message us on WhatsApp before your rental ends. We send you a new invoice as a picture, and you don’t need to come by the shop. If you prefer to meet in person, that is fine too.

What should I check at handover?

At handover we film the bike’s condition together with you. That video is the record both of us use at the end of the rental. While we film, it is worth checking:

  • Tires: tread and pressure.
  • Brakes, front and rear.
  • Lights, indicators and the horn.
  • Existing scratches and dents, so they are on the video.
  • The fuel level. You return the bike with the same amount.
  • That the helmet fits and fastens properly.

What happens if the bike gets damaged?

There is no insurance on our rentals. New scratches or damage are paid by the renter, at the price on the official Honda service invoice, not our own estimate. That keeps the cost fair and transparent. If you have an accident or breakdown, message us on WhatsApp with your location, day or night.

Which scooter is best for a month in Bali?

It depends on where you stay and how far you ride. A light automatic scooter is cheaper to run and easy in town. If you ride two-up, live up in the hills or plan many day trips, a bigger automatic scooter is more comfortable over a month. A top box is available on request at extra cost, which is handy for groceries and a laptop bag.

Can I rent a car by the month instead?

Yes. Our automatic cars are available monthly, from IDR 5,500,000 a month for the Honda Brio or the 7-seat Daihatsu Xenia, and IDR 6,500,000 for the Toyota Raize or the 7-seat Toyota Avanza. Monthly car rentals get the same free delivery and airport pickup. See the cars page.

Do I need an International Driving Permit?

We don’t require one to rent: a passport is enough. But Indonesian law requires a valid licence for what you ride, and police do check, so we recommend an IDP with the motorcycle category. Over a month, the chance of meeting a checkpoint is high. See our IDP guide.

How do I book a monthly rental?

Send your start date, how long you are staying and where you want the bike delivered on WhatsApp. We confirm the bike, and you pay when it arrives. The full terms are in our FAQ.
